Star Ford
CTO
Star has been a backend developer for 30 years, and loves to participate in Irish and Israeli set dancing. She has developed a number of her own projects in the past, including a forum technology for democratic moderation on behalf of social justice communities.
A savant in terms of software architecture, she joined Plug.events as a pillar to our product team, bringing decades of experience building scalable systems for corporate clients.

Ciarán has been working in web agencies as a technical account manager for 10 years, and organising small dance festivals and weekly parties in the forró community for 3 years prior.
He is passionate about community and the impact that our social technology has on them. Plug.events is the product of 10 years of thought and experience in organising events, working with web technologies, and observing the development of online communities.
Liz Tomlin
VPeng
Liz worked in large IT departments such as Sainsbury’s and the NHS for over 30 years, and ran a tango school, teaching and organising events for 20 years.
In 2010 she attempted to create a platform curating events, and all of the passion and knowledge garnered from that experience has helped to bring Plug.events to life.
The Contributors
Cyprien Lengagne
FE Developer
Cyprien’s first love is classical music, and he studies, performs and teaches as a cellist. He is scientifically curious and a self-taught programmer since the age of 12, learning first C and C++, before getting more involved with web technologies a few years later.
He joined the Plug.events team in January 2021 after having met another team member, Ciaran Carroll, in a web-dev community where he was sharing the prototype of his own side project that allowed musicians to share their concerts.
